​We are presenting a staged concert a collection of stories from opera, operetta and G&S. Will you join in the Masquerade?
We are looking for singers to join in the fun!
Whether you are interested in singing in the chorus, in a small ensemble or a solo, fill out the application form today!

Auditions will take place for those interested in small ensemble and solos on 22/23 Feb (further details below).

Performance dates: 19 & 20 July​
Rehearsals will commence on Wednesday 5 Feb and take place mostly on Wednesday evenings. There will also be some Saturday workshops later during the rehearsal period. Click here for a detailed Rehearsal Schedule. Participants are also invited to perform at the ANZAC Day service at Ma Ma Creek (25 April) and at the Toowoomba Eisteddfod in May (Dates TBA).

​Cost
​Sign up for a half year membership of the Society ($55). There is no cost for current financial members of the Society.

Audition requirements
If you'd like to be considered for a solo or small ensemble part, we are running auditions on the 22 & 23 Feb. If you are not available at this time, please indicate this on the form and we will be in touch about alternative arrangements.
​
Please prepare 1 or 2 pieces or sections of pieces up to a total of 6 mins. These pieces may be taken from opera, operetta, G&S, or musical theatre and may be presented in any language. In addition to vocal technique, we are looking for your ability to portray a character/s and contrasts of style.

​Please note it is expected that solo/small ensemble singers will also participate in chorus numbers where appropriate.
